🚛 The Delivery Process
We handle all the logistics. Once your calf is paid for, here is what happens:
- Vet Clearance: We schedule a vet visit to get the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI), required for crossing state lines.
- Booking: We book a spot with our trusted network of licensed haulers.
- Pickup: The driver picks up the calf. We send you photos of them loaded up and safe.
- The Journey: Drivers stop regularly for water and hay breaks. You will have the driver's phone number for updates.
- Arrival: The driver arrives at your property. You inspect the calf, and welcome them home!
🛡️ Animal Safety First
We do not throw our calves on just any trailer. We only use haulers who understand the unique needs of Miniature Cattle.
- Climate Control: For long hauls in summer, we prioritize trailers with proper ventilation or fans.
- Loose Box Stalls: Calves are shipped loose in a stall with deep bedding, not tied up, so they can lay down and rest.
- Hydration: Haulers carry water on board and stop every 4-6 hours.
- Bio-Security: Trailers are sanitized between loads to prevent illness.
📍 Local Farm Pickup
Prefer to pick up your calf yourself? We love meeting new owners!
Requirements for Pickup:
- You must have a secure livestock trailer or a goat tote/cage in a truck bed (for Micro calves).
- We do not allow calves to travel in the back seat of an SUV or sedan for safety reasons.
- Pickup appointments must be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
