Health Guarantee

We stand behind the genetics and health of every calf we place.

The Ironclad 1-Year Promise

Every Mini Highland calf purchased from us is covered by a 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee. If your calf is diagnosed with a life-altering genetic defect within the first 12 months, we will replace the animal or provide a full refund.

1. Initial Health & Vet Check

Before leaving our farm, your calf will undergo a comprehensive "Pre-Travel Exam" by a licensed veterinarian. We guarantee that at the time of pickup or delivery, the calf is:

Free of visible illness, injury, or parasites.
Up-to-date on vaccinations (Respiratory complex, Blackleg/Clostridial).
Weaned and eating solid hay/grain independently.

Buyer Responsibility: We recommend you have your own vet examine the calf within 72 hours of arrival to verify their condition.

2. Genetic Testing & Chondro Status

We value transparency. We test our breeding stock and calves for Chondrodysplasia (BD1/BD2) and PHA. The status of your calf (Non-Carrier vs. Carrier) will be clearly noted on your Bill of Sale.

Our Guarantee Covers:

Any congenital heart defects.
Severe genetic structural deformities preventing normal life.
Neurological conditions determined to be hereditary.

3. Replacement Policy

In the unfortunate event of a genetic loss, we want to make it right. Upon receipt of a necropsy report or vet diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian:

We will replace the calf with one of equal value/quality from our next available litter.
If no replacement is available within 6 months, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.

Note: This guarantee does not cover accidents, injury, or neglect after the calf has left our care.
