What is the process to buy a Mini Highland Cow?
We have streamlined our adoption process to ensure safety for our cattle and transparency for our buyers. The typical purchase timeline follows these 4 key steps:
- Select & Inquire: Choose your calf and submit an application.
- Reserve: Sign the contract and place the deposit.
- Vet Check: Calf receives a full health exam & CVI.
- Transport: Final payment and nationwide delivery.

Visit our Available Calves page to view our current herd. Once you find a calf that matches your preference (Micro, Mini, or Mid-size), submit an inquiry via our contact form.
Deposit & Contract
To reserve your calf, a non-refundable deposit is required. This removes the calf from the market. At this stage, we will send you a Bill of Sale and a Purchase Agreement to sign electronically.
This contract protects both you (the buyer) and us (the breeder), outlining health guarantees and delivery terms.
Veterinary Clearance
Before leaving our farm, every calf undergoes a final comprehensive exam by our licensed veterinarian. We obtain a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI), which is required for interstate travel.
Final Payment & Delivery
The remaining balance is due prior to shipping. We then coordinate with our trusted network of licensed livestock haulers. Whether you are in Texas, Florida, California, or Tennessee, we arrange "white glove" delivery right to your driveway.
You will receive the driver's contact info and updates throughout the journey.
